Just click the BOOK NOW button or call 734-744-4396. Reservation are strongly recommended to ensure you will not have to wait. You can walk in and see if there are available targets. To ensure a spot, you’ll still need to book online and fill out a waiver. Walk-in targets are limited and on a first come, first served basis, so be prepared to wait or even be asked to come back later in the day.

It will cost you $30 per person for one hour (with a 2-person minimum). You will pay in advance when you make your reservation. Reservations are fully refundable up to 24 hours before your scheduled time.

Not much. We will start you out with a short lesson on throwing technique, scoring and safety. Work with your coach, use common sense and always ask if you’d like assistance or advice at any point. We want you to have a great experience!

An open mind and sense of adventure. Wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals, flip flops, etc). If you don’t have any, no worries. You can borrow some. We can’t vouch for the quality/safety of an axe you may own. If you are participating in league play, you will be permitted to bring your own axe as long as it’s within WATL regulations. More about that can be found HERE.

If you are a group of 12 or less and need to cancel or reduce your group size, please let us know within 24 hours at info@theaxeparlor.com. Be aware that refunds are available up to 24 hours before your event time. It is your responsibility to show up or cancel your appointment in a timely manner if you cannot make it. Cancellations within 24 hours may request a credit that can be used at a later time.

Your lane may be forfeit if you show up more than 15 minutes past the start time.

If you are part of a private party, please contact us at 734-744-4396 or info@theaxeparlor.com at least 48 hours in advance and inform us that you will need to cancel your booking. Cancellations inside of 8 hours will forfeit your security deposit.

Yes! We can accommodate groups of all sizes. Private events are booked for a minimum of 2 hours and can be scheduled for almost any day and/or time if enough advance notice is given. Contact us at info@theaxeparlor.com for large party reservations. Give us a s much information as you can – dates, times, expected party size, catering needs, etc.

Absolutely! It can sound more intimidating than it really is. However, when done properly, axe throwing is as safe as other sport. To ensure your safety, we have the following procedures in place:

• Coaches on hand dedicated to guiding your play and ensuring you follow our rules
• Side fencing separating arena’s with plenty of space around you
• Non-negotiable rules in place for each contest to keep participants safe
• Separation table between people watching and throwing

The Axe Parlor is an active member of WATL, the World Axe Throwing League that represents the sport of axe throwing. You can learn more about them HERE.

Minors are welcome! Anybody over the age of 14 can throw and must be accompanied by an adult.

Yes. We are fully insured.

As long as a waiver is signed, spectators are welcome to watch, sit at the bar or in our lounge. Anyone who hasn’t paid to throw may not pass the yellow line that defines the throwing area. During our busier times (especially Saturdays), we may have to limit the amount of spectators to ensure we have enough room and parking for our paid throwers. We know once you see how much fun it is, you’ll want to do more than just watch.

We offer snacks such as soda, water, potato chips, crackers and more, but we do not sell anything that would be considered a meal. We may occasionally have a food truck on site, when one is available. You can always bring food in or have food delivered to The Parlor for you and your group. Yes! We just received our Class 3 liquor license and have a variety of beers, seltzers and wine coolers to choose from. Now that we have the new license you can choose from the options we offer.  If you want something specific just ask and we’ll do our best to provide it. As always, you’re more than welcome to bring in food, anytime from anywhere.
